A series that plays on Showtime/Showcase, Queer as Folk is a celebration of gay life in
all its varied forms. As we discover the differences that define us, we recognize the similarities that make us all human.
It takes place on the unique community of Liberty Avenue, where Brian, Michael, Justin, Emmett, Ted, Lindsay, Melanie, Ben,
and Debbie proudly reside.
So I began to take an interest in Queer as Folk after a gay friend of mine told me about it and we
watched it. I fell in love with tha characters and the show made me realize just how alot of so called "average" people can
be so judgemental. For some, it can be a wakeup call, hopefully making them realize that it's personality, not sexuality,
age, race or gender that makes a person. Just because someone is gay or lesbian doesn't mean that they're not awesome people.
lol...and just because someone is straight doesn't mean they're not awesome people either.
And this is it! My page dedicated to the show!
Brian Kinney played by Gale Harold.
The confident, thirtysomething advertising executive is a gay male who uses his
unapologetic and outspoken demeanor to mask feelings of insecurity, loss and isolation. Despite loving friends and a romantic
life that would put Hugh Hefner to shame, Brian can only find true solace in the chaste arms of his friends Michael and Lindsay
